Weepless Pie Meringue

  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 2 tsp water
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Moisten 1 tbsp corn starch with 2 tsp water. Stir in ½ cup boiling water and cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Set aside to cool. Now make regular meringue and gradually beat in the cooled corn starch mixture until it forms peaks.
