Watergate Cake

Recipe: Watergate Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg white cake mix
  • 1 pkg instant pistachio nut pudding
  • 1 cup oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup 7-Up soda
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • TOPPING:
  • 1 pkg instant pistachio nut pudding
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 8 oz. container whipped cream
  • Chopped red cherries

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients in order given, beat until smooth
  2. Pour into greased and floured 13x9x2 inch pan and bake about 40 minutes at 350 degrees F or until done
  3. TOPPING:
  4. Beat pudding with milk until thickened, fold in whipped topping and cherries
  5. Spread lavishly on cake and refrigerate
