Sour Cream Roll Out Cookies

Recipe: Sour Cream Roll Out Cookies


  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup margarine or butter
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp almond flavoring
  • Flour (at least 5 cups)


  1. Blend sugar, butter, sour cream, eggs and baking soda
  2. Add almond flavoring and mix
  3. Add flour until stiff
  4. Chill in refrigerator at least 2 hours
  5. Roll 1/8 inch thick
  6. Cut with cookie cutter, place on cookie sheet and bake at 325 degrees F for about 5-10 minutes
  7. These cookies should be barely brown on the bottom
  8. Cool, frost and decorate
