Red Devils Food Cake

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 2 cups flour (sifted)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup milk
Directions
  • Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and mix. Mix in cocoa and water. Add flour, salt and soda and mix well. Add milk and vanilla and blend. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes 2 round layer pans or a 9x13 inch pan.
