Raw Apple Cake

Recipe: Raw Apple Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 c up oil
  • 4 cups peeled, diced apples
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp soda
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup nuts
  • Topping:
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, 1/2 cup oil, apples and eggs together and let stand for 15 minutes
  2. Sift dry ingredients together and add to apple mixture
  3. Add nuts
  4. Bake 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees F in 9×13 inch greased pan
  5. For topping, boil brown sugar, margarine and eggs until thick
  6. Cool, then topped with whipped topping or Cool Whip
