Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 /2 cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup pumpkin (plain)
  • 1 3/4 cups flour (sifted)
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
Directions
  • Mix sugar, oil, slightly beaten eggs and pumpkin. Mix well. Add flour, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, baking powder, soda and salt. Mix well. Then add water, nuts and raisins. Mix and pour into either 1 large or 2 small loaf pans. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serve with cream cheese spread.
