Recipe: Praline Candy Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup soft butter
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup nuts
  • FROSTING:
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients for the base and beat for 1 minute
  2. Spread in 9×13 inch pan
  3. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until brown at 350 degrees F
  4. Cool and frost
  5. Make frosting by melting butter, adding the sugar and milk, then stir in powdered sugar
