Pie Crust

While this recipe for Pie Crust makes a whopping 18 pie crusts, it’s easy enough to reduce the recipe for lesser quantities or just go ahead with the entire recipe and make enough pies for each guest at Thanksgiving to have their own pie.

Recipe: Pie Crust


  • 5 lbs flour
  • 3 lbs lard or shortening


  1. Cut flour into lard/shortening.
  2. Freeze in plastic bag
  3. To use for pie crust, use 1 cup mix, salt and water
  4. Makes 18 crusts
  5. Easy to handle
