Pie Crust

The perfect pie crust recipe for any traditional pie recipe. This pie crust recipe beats the store-bought unroll and use crusts hands down. Perfectly light and flaky, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it!

Recipe: Pie Crust


  • 3 cups sifted flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups shortening
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 6 tbsp water


  1. Sift flour, salt and sugar
  2. Cut in shortening
  3. Combine egg, vinegar and water, add to flour mixture
  4. Roll out on lightly floured surface
  5. Makes 5 crusts
