Peppermint Ice Cream Dessert

Peppermint Ice Cream Dessert

  • 20 vanilla wafers
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 egg yolks, beaten
  • 2 squares melted chocolate
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup nuts
  • 3 egg whites
  • 3 pints peppermint ice cream
  • 1 square semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 tsp water
  • 1 tsp butter
  • Line buttered pan with 20 vanilla wafers, crumbled.
  • Fold 3 egg whites, stiffly beaten, into butter, powdered sugar, egg yolks, melted chocolate, vanilla and nuts mixture.
  • Spread on top of vanilla wafer crumbs, freeze for 3 hours
  • Pack 3 pints peppermint ice cream over this mixture.
  • Melt 1 square semi-sweet chocolate, 1 tsp water, 1 tsp butter
  • Dribble on top and freeze.
