Peach Crumble

  • 4 cups peach slices, drained (2lb.)
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Arrange peach slices in bottom of greased 8 inch square pan. Sprinkle lemon juice over peaches. In a bowl mix flour, sugar and salt. Cut in butter with a pastry blender until it resembles course meal. Sprinkle crumb mixture over peaches. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes. Serve warm or cold with whipped topping if desired. Yields 6 servings.
