Mandarin Orange Cake

Recipe: Mandarin Orange Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 small cans mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1/2 cup nuts
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • FROSTING:
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 6 tsp milk
  • 6 tsp margarine or butter

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients for 3 minutes
  2. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes in 9×13 inch pan
  3. For frosting, bring brown sugar, milk and margarine to a boil for 1 1/2 minutes
  4. Frost warm cake as soon as it comes out of the oven
