Macaroon Sherbet Dessert

Recipe: Macaroon Sherbet Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 pint whipping cream
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 18 oz pkg macaroon wafers
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped
  • 3 pints flavored sherbet (3 different flavors)

Instructions

  1. Whip cream, add sugar and vanilla
  2. Fold in crushed macaroons and nuts
  3. Spread half in buttered 9×13 inch pan
  4. Place scoops of the 3 flavors of sherbet over filling until covered, then remaining cream mixture
  5. Freeze 12-15 hours before serving
  6. Cut in squares
