Ginger Creams

Ingredients
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 1 cup raisins
Directions
  • Dissolve soda in water and mix all ingredients together. Pour in large well greased cookie sheet with sides, or a 9x13 inch pan and an 8 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Top with powdered sugar frosting while hot.
