Ingredients
  • 1 cup corn meal
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup shortening
Directions
  • Sift in dry ingredients. Add egg, milk and shortening and mix until smooth. Bake in greased muffin pan at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
