Coconut Creme Dessert

Recipe: Coconut Creme Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup toasted coconut
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 small packages instant coconut pudding
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 large container Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Mix together flour, softened butter and chopped pecans
  2. Press mixture into a 9×12 inch pan
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes
  4. Let cool
  5. Mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1 cup Cool Whip together
  6. Save this mixture
  7. Mix 2 packages of coconut pudding and 2 cups milk until thickened
  8. Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled crust
  9. Spread pudding on top of this mixture
  10. Top with remainder of Cool Whip and toasted coconut
  11. Refrigerate
  12. Cut in to squares and serve
