Cocoa Caramel Bars

Recipe: Cocoa Caramel Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 50 caramels
  • 6 oz. chocolate chips
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Mix together cake mix, butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk
  2. Spread half in greased 9×13 inch pan
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 6 minutes
  4. Melt caramels in 1/3 cup evaporated milk over low heat
  5. Spread chocolate chips and nuts over baked cake mix, then drizzle caramel mixture over the chips and nuts
  6. Lastly, put remaining cake mixture over all
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes
