Chicken Nuggets

Chicken Nuggets Recipe

  • Marinate:
  • 2-3 lbs skinless boneless chicken breast
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 2 tsp. soy sauce
  • Breading:
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. oil
  • First make sure all of the fat is trimmed off of the chicken and then cut it into strips. Then mix the first half or the ingredients together (cornstarch, salt, pepper & soy sauce) and then put the chicken strips into the mixture to marinate for about 20 minutes.
  • While the chicken is marinating mix the rest of the ingredients together into another bowl. Heat up 5 cups of oil in a pan or heat up a fryer. Now put the marinated chicken into the batter and mix. Then carefully place the coated chicken into the oil and fry each piece for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain the finish strips on a paper towel.
