Butter Cream Frosting

Recipe: Butter Cream Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb margarine
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 lb powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 oz. melted chocolate or 1/2 cup plus 1 tbsp cocoa plus 1 1/2 tbsp shortening
  • 1/4 lb cream cheese

Instructions

  1. Cream margarine until light and fluggy
  2. Add evaporated milk, mix well
  3. Add sugar and vanilla
  4. You may add the chocolate
  5. Add cream cheese for a creamy frosting
