Broccoli Casserole

Broccoli CasseroleThis recipe for a tasty Broccoli Casserole is at its best when made with broccoli picked fresh from the garden but especially in Minnesota that leaves a narrow window for creating this tasty casserole recipe so I’ve even allowed myself to use frozen broccoli because taste buds know no season.

Broccoli Casserole

Cooks in   
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 pkg. frozen broccoli, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup minute rice, uncooked
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup cheese whiz
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Saute onion in butter. Stir together with remaining ingredients. Bake in greased casserole for 30-40 minutes at 350.
