American, Dessert
  • 2 lb powdered sugar
  • 1/4 lb butter
  • 1/2 tsp. almond or vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 large pkg. coconut
  • 1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
  • Cherries or nuts if desired
  • Topping:
  • 1 pkg. chocolate chips
  • 2/3 paraffin bar
  • Combine powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, salt, coconut and milk. Roll into balls with cherries or nuts inside. Melt chips and paraffin over hot water and dip balls into it. Chill two hours.
