Beer Can ChickenBeer Can Chicken is as simple as thawing a whole chicken, brining to give the chicken some additional flavoring and juice and seasoning to your liking. On a grill, the beer can chicken will be finished in less than two hours.

  • 2 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 2 tsp Parsley
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Crushed Oregano
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • Mix spices together and rub on chicken. Apply some of the rub to interior cavity of chicken. This can be done the night before cooking as it allows spices to permeate the chicken.
  • Add some of spice mix to nearly full beer can and place can on beer can rack. Push chicken on to beer can and place on grill. Allow to cook one hour on medium to high heat or approximately two hours on low (250 degree) heat.
