Beef Lasagna Roll-ups

Beef Lasagna Roll-ups Recipe
Dinner, Italian
   Serves 10
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 1 jar pasta sauce
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 8 oz. shredded mozzarella
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 10 lasagna noodles
  • Cook noodles following directions on package. Brown beef and onion. Drain grease from beef. Add basil, oregano, cream cheese and 1/3 cup of sauce. Mix until creamy over low heat.
  • Drain noodles. Lay out noodles on clean cutting board. On each noodle spread 2 tsp. of mixture. Sprinkle on 2 tbsp. of shredded mozzarella and then roll up noodles. Put 1/2 of the remaining sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking pan. Place roll-ups on sauce. Pour remaining sauce over noodles and cover with remaining cheese. Cover pan with foil and bake for 15 minutes at 350. Remove foil and bake for 15 minutes longer.
