These tasty dessert crepes are a light, flaky treat. Top or fill them with fruit of your choosing and go all out with a healthy dollop of whipped cream on top!
Basic Dessert Crepes
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/8 tsp salt
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Beat with a rotary beater until mixed. Heat a 6 inch skillet. Remove from heat. Spoon 2 tbsp batter, lift and tilt to spread batter. Return to heat, brown on one side ONLY. Invert pan over paper toweling, remove crepe. Makes 16-18 crepes, grease skillet often.
- Fill with ice cream and top with fruit that has been partially thawed and sweetened.
- Fill crepes with favorite fruit and top with whipped cream or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
