Barbecued Tuna

Rather than the old standard of barbecued hamburger, try Barbecued Tuna. It’s a healthier and more economical option that’s perfect for Fridays during Lent.

Recipe: Barbecued Tuna


  • 1 can tuna, drained
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • buns


  1. Mix all ingredients together
  2. Heat 5 minutes on simmer
  3. Serve on buns
