barbecued ribsThe perfect barbecue sauce recipe for either beef or pork barbecued ribs. Zesty and tangy, this barbecue sauce is amazing no matter how you choose to prepare your ribs.

Recipe: Barbecued Ribs


  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • 1 can cream of tomato soup
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • chopped onions (optional)
  • mushrooms (optional)


  1. In saucepan, mix brown sugar, salt, mustard, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, tomato juice, tomato soup, ketchup and water
  2. Simmer 15 minutes or until slightly thickened
  3. Add the onions and/or mushrooms, if desired
  4. Pour over beef or pork ribs
  5. Bake in 350 degree F oven
