Baked Carrots

American, Side
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • dash of pepper
  • Halve (or slice thinner) up to 8 medium peeled carrots lengthwise. Place in 10x6x2 inch baking dish.
  • Stir in above ingredients.
  • Cover tightly with foil, bake at 400 degrees until tender, up to 40-45 minutes. Serves 4-6.
