4 Bean Salad

This recipe for 4 bean salad has been handed down for generations.  It’s excellent when accompanied with fried chicken and is always a hit a summertime gatherings.

4 Bean Salad

American, Side
  • 1 can green beans, drained
  • 1 can yellow beans, drained
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can lima beans, drained
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. crumbled tarragon leaves
  • 1/2 tsp. basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp. snipped parsley
  • Mix onion, vinegar, oil, mustard, tarragon, basil and parsley together well. Pour over the beans. Store in refrigerator.
